Bridle Ring

A bridle ring is a simple, loop-shaped wire fastener used primarily to support and route cables, wires, and low-voltage lines in industrial, electrical, and construction environments. It looks like a sturdy metal ring with a threaded shank attached, allowing it to be screwed into wood, metal, or mounted with accessories like beam clamps.

Bridle rings are favored because they offer an open, low-friction pathway for cables—unlike enclosed conduits or closed hangers—making it easy to pull, add, or remove wires during installation or maintenance. They’re commonly used for CAT5/CAT6 data cables, fiber optics, low-voltage wiring, telecommunications, speaker wire, and light electrical lines. In industrial or commercial settings, they help keep cable runs organized, elevated, and protected while meeting routing standards for non-critical low-voltage systems.

They come in different ring diameters and with various mounting options such as threaded screws, machine-screw threads, or attachment-ready ends for beams or strut channels. Because the interior is open and smooth, bridle rings help minimize cable abrasion—but they’re typically limited to low-tension or non-plenum applications, unlike more rigid or enclosed cable supports.
