Earnest Machine experienced an increase in two out of our four performance metrics in October. While our team is excited to see our metrics headed in the right direction, we continue to focus on process improvements, product training, as well as managing supply chain challenges to improve our customers' experiences.
In September, Earnest Machine experienced a slight improvement in both our Part Accuracy and Order Entry Accuracy performance metric. Additionally, our Quantity Accuracy metric has also held at or above goal for three consecutive months. However, our On Time Delivery continues to remain below goal as this metric is directly related to current stock-out situations due to ongoing supply chain shortages and challenges. Our team hopes to see this metric improve throughout October as we are currently awaiting an influx of inventory from overseas.

This noted improvement is due to our teams continued focus on process improvement to ensure that we get available inventory out the door and that orders ship on time. The steps we’ve taken as a company over the past several months are now leading us in the right direction, and while we are still hundredths of a percent away from meeting our set goals, our team continues to work hard to refine the processes we have in place and is striving to maintain consistency. At Earnest, we care deeply about the experience we provide to our customers and when we are underperforming, we know that experience suffers.

However, even though our team was excited to see these minor improvements, we know there is still a lot of work in front of us in order to maintain our performance and ensure we are meeting our set goals as a company. Currently, our main focus is to boost our On Time Delivery metric back towards an acceptable score. To do this, we are looking into further expanding our teams as well as embracing a strengths-based approach where we utilize our employee's unique talents and natural abilities.
At Earnest Machine, we like to own our mistakes, learn from them, and look for solutions that will help us grow and improve as a company. When we reviewed our performance metrics for March, it became clear that we still have much work ahead of us to not only push our metrics back towards our goals but also maintain them. You can be assured our team is working hard to address the issues related to each of our performance metrics, leveraging their unique strengths and abilities to continually deliver our customers the right part, in the right quantity, on time, every time.
