The ice is gone from Lake Erie and the water is slowly starting to warm. That means the fishing will soon heat up, and Mike Zolkowski plans to be on the water as much as possible, reeling in walleye and filling his freezer with fat fillets.

This year, Mike will be able to spend as much time as he wants on the water because he’s retiring on April 21 after 9 years at Earnest Machine and 41 years in the fastener industry.
