Taper Pressure Plugs are used in applications where a pressure tight seal is needed with no leakage. Often confused with standard pip plugs, taper pressure plugs come in two types, Dry Seal 3/4” taper which sists raised above the tap and the Level Seal 7/8” taper which is recessed deeper in the tapped hole.
