Weld Nuts are specially designed to securely weld themselves to a frame or steel plate. Prongs on the end of the nuts are engineered to melt as electricity is sent between the nut and material it’s being attached to — welding the two together. Weld nuts prevent the bolts from loosening over time and eliminate the need for soldering tools. Earnest offers weld nuts with either 3 or 6 projections and are made from carbon steel with excellent weld ability and strength.
