July Distribution Performance Report

Earnest Machine is committed to delivering our customers the right part, in the right quantity, on time, every time. In reviewing our metrics for July, we have identified some key areas where we are underperforming to accomplish our goals. 
 
Part Accuracy: Our Part Accuracy metric fell from 99.95% (above goal) in June to 99.82%, and we issued a corrective action to identify the root cause of this and to seek out a resolution. 

 

Quantity Accuracy: Our Quantity Accuracy met our goal.
Individual DC scores: 
Austell – 99.75%         
Indy – 99.89%  
England – 100.00%  
EMC – 100.00%                                  
 
Order Entry: Order Entry also dipped slightly since leveling out over the last three months. We will be returning to the corrective action for further insight and study. 
Order Entry Accuracy score was 99.81%. 
 
On-time Delivery: We have identified the root cause with some software that caused our on-time delivery to suffer. We have fixed this issue and are confident we will return to our consistently high on-time delivery rate. 
On-Time Delivery – 89.45%
Austell – 87.93% 
Indy – 91.36%
 
Quantity Accuracy: The score for the company as a whole was 99.94%
Individual DC scores: 
Austell – 99.75%
Indy – 99.89%
England – 100.00%   
EMC - 100.00%  
 
Service Guarantees: Twenty-six service guarantees were issued in July for a total of $1300.00. 
 
It’s never easy to admit when you haven’t lived up to your expected goals, and it can be even more challenging to accept this and own it. Earnest Machine realizes that we have some important changes that need to be made to push our metrics in the right direction. Our goal is to see these numbers increase over the next few months to continue to deliver the best in class customer experience possible.
