Embracing Our Core Values

This past Friday afternoon at 4:15, a customer reached out with an urgent order to ship same day, though Earnest Machine’s cutoff time for same day shipping is 3:30PM EST. The product in question was a plain finish 7/16-14 x 1-1/4 inch 12 Point Flange Screw in a quantity of 8. Given the timing of the request and the fact that there was a surplus of orders in the docket already for that day, we were hesitant we could fulfill this request in the specified time. However, Sales Lead Chris Levicki embraced our core value of putting the customer first and reached out to our Indianapolis DC Manager Paul Bush and Administrative and Logistics Coordinator Lindsey Clay to discuss the matter.

 

Ultimately, we were able to fulfill this request and drop shipped this order directly so it would appear to the end user that the order came from our customer, rather than Earnest Machine. Internal communication and teamwork helped us get our customer the right part, in the right quantity, and on-time. We’re happy to go the extra mile to ensure that we’re able to help our customers like that everytime.
