GRADE 5 CARRIAGE BOLTS
Earnest Machine Products line of Grade 5 Carriage Bolts are made to the strength and hardness requirements of SAE J429 for Grade 5 bolts and to the dimensional requirements of ASME B18.5.
The material and hardness range provides good strength with excellent toughness.

Carriage Bolts are designed to be used in applications that require a low profile head and the Grade 5 strength level ensures that the Earnest line of carriage bolts will provide excellent toughness. The low profile head and a fastener that can be installed from the nut side of the assembly make this style fastener useful in many applications.
